Laptop that can play WoW?
College is around the corner for me and I was looking for a laptop with some rather common specs for laptops now-a-days, but I need owner advice. I am looking for a Laptop with…
*2Gigz of RAM (or more)
*2.0Ghz Processor (Preferably Intel and dual core obviously)
*150Gig HD (More is better =D)
*DVD/CD Burner (Gotta be able to make them DVD’s!)
*And a decent video card because the main reason for me getting a laptop is to keep up with WoW FLAWLESSLY while I am not at my desktop. So in other words I need people who have similar specs, who have wow installed on their computer (WOTLK), to tell me what to get ^.^
Looking around $800, definitely not more than $1000.
Yes, I love the Asus Laptop from Newegg and have been eying it for a few days, but I was just wondering if there was more to choose from ^.^
I think this is precisely what your looking for.
2GB RAM? Check (it has 4GB)
2.0GHz Core 2 Duo? Check
150GH HDD? Check (320GB)
DVD/CD burner? Check
Good real vid card? Check (NVIDIA GeForce GT120)
And the price? $799.
Here’s a quote about that computer:
“This is a amazing laptop! By far one of the most powerfull laptop’s I have seen. The new Nvidia GeForce GT 120M just suprises me by out doing my desktop and every other laptop’s I know. Running WoW on the highest setting with the 4GB of ram with the GT 120M is smooth and clear, i have never seen WoW this way before. Couldnt ask for a better gaming set up and runs every thing i can throw at it!”
Have fun!
